1. Identify the role and main functions of the facilitator of working groups
2. Outline different styles of facilitation and how they promote or deter learning and task achievement
3. Describe the facilitation skills explored and practiced on the course and how they promote quality improvement
4. Describe the group dynamics the facilitator may encounter and the skills required to help groups achieve their objectives.
5. Using examples identify steps in planning, structuring and organising learning on-the-job.
